General tips:
  1. Start a time capsule (box, basket, whatever) when your baby is born.  Put little mementos in it as the child grows.  Eg. Birthday cards, birth certificate, old shoes, first finger painting, front page of the newspaper when the child was born, etc.
  2. Think about framing babies first drawing.  It's amazing how many masterpieces are created this way!
  3. When baby is starting to pull themselves up, make sure they have socks with the rubber grips on the bottoms.  This will help stop them slipping.
  4. Try not to say "No" too much to a baby.  As parents we get in the habit of saying "No" and the outcome can be disobedience.  Try to balance, "No" with "Yes".
