A site dedicated to choosing a baby name. Have you ever wondered "How do I pick a name for my baby" or "How to name my baby" then you have come to the right place. We have boys names and girls names and of course some of them are for both genders. Where possible, we try to put a meaning to the name and also where the name came from. So we can help if you've ever wondered "what does the name mean?" or "what does my name mean?" or "where does my name come from?"  then we can help with that too. By keeping the names in lists, this also makes it easy to browse. What is the meaning of ... well just look here!

Safety Tips:
  1. Keep any electrical cords off the floor and away from baby.
  2. Keep scissors, knitting needles, cutlery, matches, ashtrays, breakables, small objects, etc. well out of baby's reach.
  3. Remove any wobbly furniture that could topple over and hurt baby.  Consider attaching bookcases and chests of drawers to the wall.  Many children have been killed as a result of climbing such furniture and having it topple over onto them.
  4. Make sure curtain drawstrings are tied up out of the way.  Many children have been hanged as a result of swinging on these.
  5. Avoid using tablecloths (use placemats instead) whilst baby is learning to walk and thus pulling themselves up on things.
