Baby tips for new parents - "Before baby comes - continued"

  1. If this is your first baby, nothing will really prepare you for what is about to come.  And each experience can be different from the next.  Just relax and expect the unexpected.

  2. The baby will affect your love life so talk about this before baby comes along and keep an open line of communication after.

  3. Do read up on childbirth - what to expect - what not to expect, etc. etc. Whilst you can never be prepared for everything, at least try to be as informed as possible.

  4. Buy a baby capsule or child seat before the baby comes along.  And install it before too.  Saves lots of last minute problems such as requiring an extension strap or a special bolt.

  5. Research using the Internet (as you are right now).

  6. Learn about children's medication. Speak to your doctor.
