Platypus
Soft Toy Pattern
|
|
This
pattern includes a colour photo, easy to follow instructions, a list
of material requirements and a layout diagram.
Plattie
is the first “Aussie Mates” Funky Friend. With his cute little
upturned bill and squidgy body, he’s bound to get loads of
cuddles. One of the simplest Funky Friends patterns, he is ideal for
beginners. He is suited to most knit materials but making him out of
fleece gives him a warm fuzzy feel! (Finished size - 12”/ 30cm).

Cockatoo
Soft Toy Pattern
|
|
This
pattern includes a colour photo, easy to follow instructions, a list
of material requirements and a layout diagram.
Charlie
is the second “Aussie Mates” Funky Friend. The inspiration for
Charlie cockatoo came from the cheeky cockatoos that visit the
birdbath just outside the designer’s sewing room window. Charlie
is very easy to make and he’s really popular with children who
seem fascinated by his wacky sulphur yellow crest. Making his body
and wings from fleece gives him a cuddly feel. (Finished Size
12”/30cm).

Joey
Kangaroo Soft Toy Pattern
|
|
This
pattern includes a colour photo, easy to follow instructions, a list
of material requirements and a layout diagram.
Joey
is the third “Aussie Mates” Funky Friend. This baby kangaroo
with his nappy/diaper makes a lovely toy for girls and boys. He’s
a great project for a beginner as he is quick and easy to make and
he is made from only one fabric. Fleece makes him really cuddly but
any stretch fabric should be fine. If you are making Joey for an
adult, you can add your own baby accessories with a dummy on a chain
around his neck and some safety pins in his nappy. (Finished size
15”/38cm).
