Do prices include GST? TOP
Prices on this site do not include GST however, as a merchant registered for GST in Australia, Aussie Things is obliged to charge 10% GST on any purchases being shipped within Australia. When a customer nominates Australia as the shipping zone within the shopping cart, 10% will automatically be added to the Tax GST field.
What is Aussie Things' default currency? TOP
All prices, since October 2010, are in Australian dollars. However, as a courtesy to our visitors not located within Australia we are using the services of YourCurrencyConverter.com to provide an automatic currency conversion estimate next to all product prices. Where this converter can not automatically detect your location, it will default to Australian dollars. Please note that this conversion is an estimate only. Exchange rates change regularly and we in no way can control them or how YourCurrencyConverter.com interprets them. Please be aware that you will be billed the Australian dollar amount. Errors and omissions excepted.

Aussie Things reserves the right to amend any information within this site at any time without notice, including but not limited to: prices, shipping information, policies and product information.
However, no warranty is made as to the accuracy or reliability of links and associated information related to external websites and Aussie Things disclaims all liability and responsibility for any direct or indirect loss or damage which may be suffered by any recipient through relying on such external links.
Are your prices up-to-date? TOP
Whilst all care is taken to make sure that the prices are kept up-to-date, sometimes there may have to be a change for reasons beyond our control. Because of this, prices are subject to change without notice. However, all legitimate orders received by us through our secure online ordering system will be processed at the prices documented during time of ordering.
What is your privacy statement? TOP
Aussie Things endeavour to keep your confidential information secure. For example, credit card details are captured in a secure manner using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption.
We will not sell your personal information under any circumstances.
What shipping method do you use? TOP
All goods are shipped via Australia Post - Air Mail for overseas services and normal Parcel Post for mail within Australia. Based on this, the postal service takes about 2 weeks to ship to the US and Canada and about a week to Europe and many parts of Asia. Within Australia, it is usually a couple of days to arrive at Eastern States destinations and a week or so for the West Coast. Aussie Things generally ship goods out once to twice a week depending on volume. Occasionally, if goods are not in stock, the lead time to shipping may be delayed by a week or two.
Aussie Things charge shipping per item. Our shopping cart is capable of calculating shipping on combined orders (where you buy more than one item at the same time) and will charge the appropriate amount.
Do you ship all over the world? TOP
Unfortunately, due to a higher risk of credit card fraud, Aussie Things can not ship to all destinations. Destinations we will not ship to (unless you pay by cash in $US) include: Russia
- Eastern Europe
- Some parts of Africa
- Indonesia
This list is indicative only. We will always contact you by email if your destination falls within the high risk list. You will still have the option of paying by cash $US.
Can I return an item if I am not happy? TOP
Aussie Things do not accept returns unless you have negotiated by email to return an item prior to us receiving it. The only time this is likely to eventuate is if there is a manufacturers defect (this is extremely unlikely given products are checked by the manufacturers and they are also checked by us prior to shipping) or you have given us incorrect sizing information. A change of mind does not constitute valid grounds for returning an item. Postage/handling fees are not refunded. If you are unsure about an item please email Aussie Things for more information before purchasing.
Will I have to pay customs duty? TOP
It is impossible for Aussie Things to give you information on customs duty given the number of different destinations in the world. However, duty is your responsibility should you purchase from this site. Some places that we are aware of potential duty issues are Belgium and France.
What legal jurisdiction covers the Aussie Things website? TOP
Any issues arising as a result of using this website will be governed by the Laws of the State of Queensland, Australia.
What update rights do you have over this website? TOP
Aussie Things reserve the right to amend and update these policies at any time and without notification. Should you have any queries relating to policies, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Do you wholesale? TOP
Please note that as indicated in other parts of this website, we are a small online retailer primarily of Australian made and Australian themed products. We do not manufacture any of these products ourselves. We do not wholesale.
Much work has gone into sourcing suitable products for our site and as such, it is not appropriate that we furnish others with our supplier information. We trust you understand this and please understand that any requests to do so will be ignored.
